70 kilometers off the coast of Khao Lak, Thailand, a small group of 9 islands sit peacefully in the Andaman sea - the Similans. Our family spent 2 1/2 days on a small boat, touring the islands, diving, snorkeling and exploring the beaches. It was a wonderful adventure!
We charted the Nangnuan with the Dragon dive center in Khao Lak. After steaming for 4 1/2 hours to our first dive site, we got on our gear and went for our first dive. It was awesome to be diving in one of the world's top dive destinations, in spite of the rain.
